ED glass - reduces color dispersion and enhances color resolution and contrast. Different light wavelengths do not come to the same point after passing the lens. ED glass helps to correct this problem. As a result, the image is sharper.
P2 Phase Coating of BaK4 prisms - enhances image clarity and color reproduction, creates crystal clear images and high resolution observation.
V-Max Silver Coating - lens treatment that provides crisper, more vivid images and sharper contrast due to better light reflection.
AR coating (Anti-Reflection) - coating of air-to-surface lenses that minimizes light reflection on the lens.
Emerald coating - designed to provide the full spectrum of color within the band of green tones. This coating is essential for nature enthusiasts, because it ensures the most vivid and natural shades of green.
Waterproof - Nitrogen charged and O-ring sealed; waterproof and fog proof to take on the most challenging weather conditions.
As one can see, this binocular offers performances very close to the much more expensive ones. For people spending time in nature (walking, fishing etc) this is one of the best buy binoculars: very good optics, very good protection, not too big, although it could be lighter, perhaps. If you need it for fishing, 0.73kg of binocular laying around will not be heavy burden.
With 10x magnification, it can be great aid in fish, seagulls, weather etc spotting and observing.
Binocular has solid protection in the form of soft rubber coating ('armor') and being waterproof up to a meter of water depth. Anyway, don't abuse it too much (throw around or similar) - many people have thin rubber or foam mat and keep binocular on it - additional protection during bad weather (waves!) or during trolling when game fish strike and they have it in the hands and need to lay it down (throw?!) as quickly as possible...
