Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' Deep Cycle Batteries
Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' are large and heavy, deep cycle gel Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries, being able to store large amount of energy.
Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' batteries are suitable for both deep cycle and standby applications with extra long standby life of up to 10-12 years. As such, these batteries are not suitable as starting/cranking for large gas and especially diesel engines, but if required, they both may be used as starting batteries for engines not requiring more than 400-500 Amps.
Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' Batteries Features and Specifications
Renogy 12V 200Ah Gel batteries use electrolyte in the form of gel, creating non-spillable, maintenance free batteries being able to withstand large number of charging/discharging cycles, having extra long standby life of up to 10-12 years, having extra low self-discharge rate etc.
On the other hand, Renogy gel batteries are unable to provide large discharge currents due to somewhat larger internal resistance, especially older 'Pure Gel' model.
Newer 'Hybrid Gel' model features lower internal resistance and even comes with declared maximum allowed 5 seconds current, bridging the gap between 'classic' AGM and 'Pure Gel' lead-acid batteries.
The following chart lists the most important features and specifications of Renogy 12V 200Ah AGM, Pure Gel and Hybrid Gel batteries:

Renogy 12V 200Ah batteries are large and heavy batteries that come with carrying handles - it is highly recommended not to carry them around, not because of the strength of the handles, but because of the weight of the batteries (around 128 pounds, ~58 kg).
Renogy 12V 200Ah Pure Gel (RNG-BATT-GEL12-200) battery is older model than Renogy 12V 200Ah Hybrid Gel (RBT200GEL12-G1) battery and has both pros and cons.
Note on the Physical Dimensions: Some sites claim that Renogy 12V 200Ah batteries belong to the BCI Group 4D (20 3/4 x 8 3/4 x 9 7/8 inches), but all three models are slightly wider than required width of 8 3/4 (8.75) inches.
Thus, these batteries belong to the BCI Group 6D featuring maximum dimensions of (L x W x H) 20 3/4 x 10 x 10 1/4 inches.
But, if You have 4D battery compartment and it accepts slightly wider batteries, these batteries 'will probably' fit such compartment - we say 'will probably' because that battery compartment must he accurately measured.
Both 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' feature extra long Standby Life of ~12 years (@77°F, 25°C) which is an excellent value.
Despite being 'older' model, Renogy 12V 200Ah Pure Gel (RNG-BATT-GEL12-200) battery can withstand more charging/discharging cycles than 'Hybrid Gel' (1100 vs 750, 50% DoD) and has very low self-discharge rate of less than 2% per month at 77°F (25°C).
On the other hand, the 'newer' Renogy 12V 200Ah Hybrid Gel (RBT200GEL12-G1) battery feature lower internal resistance, stronger maximum charging current and even comes with declared maximum 5 seconds current of 2000 Amps.
Obviously, Renogy 12V 200Ah Pure Gel (RNG-BATT-GEL12-200) battery is more suitable for cyclic, deep discharge applications like solar, wind, off-the-grid, RV house and similar battery, while Renogy 12V 200Ah Hybrid Gel (RBT200GEL12-G1) battery is more suitable for mission critical applications where battery must be able to be recharged quickly and be ready for another discharge cycle as quickly as possible - security/medical UPS systems, sump pump battery and similar.
But, they are both great high-capacity gel batteries and both may be used for all those and other similar applications.

Typically for lead-acid battery, Renogy 'Pure Gel' battery also loses its effective capacity as the discharge current is increased.
Nonetheless, Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' battery can provide 670 Amps for 5 minutes after which battery must be given some time to 'rest' and then it must be recharged as soon as possible with intelligent SLA battery charger, using setting for the Gel-cell batteries.

Just like the 'Pure Gel' battery, Renogy 12V 200Ah Hybrid Gel (RBT200GEL12-G1) battery also loses its capacity as the discharge current is increased.
Ror example, 1 hour capacity of the 'Pure Gel' battery is 127.0 Ah (down to 9.6 volts) and 118.6 Ah (also down to 9.6 volts) for 'Hybrid Gel', which is surprising considering the lower internal resistance of 'Hybrid Gel' battery and larger charging currents (60 vs 40 Amps, 50% difference).
When 'Hybrid Gel' battery is discharged and must be recharge again, the best way to charge it is the same like charging 'Pure Gel' model - let the battery rest for awhile (10-20 minutes), especially if it was discharged by strong currents (>100-150 Amps) and use intelligent SLA battery charger, set to 'Gel Battery', and let it charge the battery fully.
When the batteries are fully charged, they may remain connected to the intelligent battery charger which will keep the batteries fully charged using so-called 'trickle charge' - after fully charging the batteries, intelligent battery chargers switch from charging modes to battery maintenance mode.
Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' Battery vs 'Hybrid Gel' Battery
Renogy 12V 200Ah 'Pure Gel' and 'Hybrid Gel' batteries are two very similar models that may be used in the same situations, including excellent trolling motor battery, solar/wind/off-the-grid battery, RV house battery, electric vehicle battery, sump pump battery, etc.
For the applications where number of cycles and higher discharge efficiency are important, go for 'Pure Gel' battery - for example, off-the-grid applications or trolling motor battery.
For the applications where higher charge current is important, go for 'Hybrid Gel' battery - for example, sump pump battery or UPS backup battery in security/medical or similar applications.
These are just general examples, so choose according to your own needs and requirements.
